Details

The multi drive synchronize system is a user specific tailor made system consisting of the following zones:
Unwinder
The tension is controlled by a load cell feed back, and actuators could be powder brake, pneumatic brake, D.C. or A.C. motor depending upon the client’s requirement. The controller ensures that the tension is maintained throughout the roll.

Infeed
The web tension entering the Infeed nip and in the span between the first printing station nip is maintained constant. This zone is synchronized with the main drive and maintains tension with load cell feedback positioned between the first printing station and Infeed nip.
Main Drive
All the printing stations are powered by a single motor A.C. or D.C. through a line shift. The speed could be set by means of push buttons and is also displayed in digital readouts. The controller ensures that the set speed is maintained throughout the printing process.
Outfeed
The web tension in section between the last printing station and the outfeed nip is maintained constant. This zone is synchronized by the main drive and has load cell feedback positioned between the last printing nip and the Outfeed nip to maintain the tension constant. The actuator could be A.C. or D.C. motor.
Rewinder
In this zone the tension is controlled by tension feedback and the actuator could be an A.C. motor, D.C. motor, A.C. torque motor or Powder clutch, depending on the application and the client’s requirement. The controller ensures that the set tension is maintained through the built up of the roll.
